"Animation is imagination, brought to life by the artist. Animation has saved my life and it's much more than the illusion of life, for the audience...it is life!"- (Kyle Femath)
Hi there! My name is Kyle Femath and I’m on a mission to be a humble animator in the industry and be a part of a Team again! I have been blessed with a new outlook on life and understanding that life is very precious!! I remember staring late at the starry nights in Afghanistan…Questioning my purpose on this planet and what I would do If I could just live through this year of fighting the Taliban.
I would not only be grateful, but I would be humbled in every step. I know each day I wake up is a blessing and I won’t waste this life fighting someone else fights. I want to create animation the strongest form of art and the illusion of life!
I want to be a part of a team again and help each other reach new heights that were never possible by ourselves. I know the importance of teamwork, motivation, and being a part of a unit. I honestly miss the camaraderie I had in the military with my fellow soldiers. We weren’t just soldiers in a Government unit but, we slowly became a strong family fighting every obstacle that stood in our path.
I made a promise to a sweet angel named cinnamon. When I was shot and relearning how to walk. She reminded me to maintain my strength and be positive. When cinnamon died I promised her that I would one day embed her selflessness and caring characteristics into an animated character. Her love was unexplainable and she helped me feel again.
During my recovery, I would watch animated films that would take me to a different reality and leave a positive impact. It reminded me of my childhood and the great animated films I would watch over and over. My goal in life is to be apart of a hardworking team and I want to create something for future generations to enjoy and learn from. I love you Cinna-bun! I will be an animator & I won't forget my promise!!
As a kid, I would watch classic Disney movies over and over: Such as Toy Story and Jungle Book. Jungle Book was one and it wasn’t until I started studying animation in school I realized the importance of that animated film. Jungle Book was technically the last Disney movie the great Walt Disney had his hands on before he passed away.
I will be an animator one day and I will be apart of a team again: fighting together to accomplish each task and mission at hand!! I cannot wait until this day is a reality!!!
Animation has always inspired and fascinated me. I feel the art of animation and the use of body mechanics to display the illusion of life to the audience...is nothing but magical! I will be a part of a team again: fighting together to accomplish each task and mission at hand!
Growing as artists and learning from each other to make the process as efficient and fun, as possible! We cannot forget to have fun with the process and remember family is everything! I cannot wait until this day is a reality! Never give up, it is possible to make our dreams become a reality! We must first believe in it ourselves before anyone else will. It's worth fighting!! Strength and Honor!!!
